1. Overview
At Umamiya.ca, we’re committed to delivering your order quickly and safely. We currently ship non-perishable products across Canada using reliable carriers.
2. Shipping Carriers
We use Canada Post and UPS for all deliveries. The carrier is automatically selected based on your order size, weight, and destination to ensure the best balance of speed and cost.
3. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to addresses within Canada only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
4. Processing Times
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
- Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.
- During peak seasons or special promotions, processing times may be slightly longer.
5. Delivery Times
- Delivery times vary by destination and carrier.
- Typical transit times are:
- BC, AB, SK, MB: 2–5 business days
- ON, QC: 4–7 business days
- Atlantic Provinces & Territories: 6–10 business days
- Remote or rural areas may experience additional transit time.
6. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, and destination. You’ll see the available shipping options and their costs before completing your purchase.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. You can use this link to follow your shipment’s progress until delivery.
8. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We cannot guarantee changes once your order has been processed. Orders returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may incur additional reshipping charges.
9. Delivery Issues & Missing Packages
If your tracking shows “delivered” but you haven’t received your package, please check with household members or neighbours first. If the package is still missing, contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date so we can assist with a carrier investigation.
10. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item(s) and packaging. We’ll make it right with a replacement, store credit, or refund as appropriate.
11. Temperature-Sensitive & Perishable Goods
We currently ship only non-perishable products. Temperature-sensitive or perishable items (such as fresh or frozen seafood) are not available for shipping at this time. Any future perishable shipping options will be announced with specific delivery regions and carrier options.
12. Order Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled if they have not yet been processed or shipped. Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a cancellation.
